Our Purpose
The purpose of Family of Christ Christian Preschool is to provide the children of our members and the children in the community with quality education that builds and nurtures each child's spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical development in a distinctly Christian environment where children feel safe, supported and loved. Family of Christ Christian Preschool is an important ministry of Family of Christ Lutheran Church that involves the congregation, community, staff, family and child.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."  Matthew 19:14

Our Philosophy

At Family of Christ Christian Preschool we provide each child with a quality Christian education by nurturing the whole child. Each child is a unique and special child of God. Thus we provide a safe, supportive, and loving environment that builds and nurtures each child's spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical development.

Because young children learn best through play, this preschool provides your child with many different hands-on activities. Each day that your child is at school they have opportunities to explore and play with different materials that have been set up for them in their classroom environment. As the children spend time as a group and during free time, teachers are there to set a positive example of Christian love, support each child, and encourage higher levels of thinking for each child according to their individual developmental levels.

Parents and families are also an essential part of our program. We recognize that parents are a child's primary teacher and, because of that, we strive to create a partnership between parents and the staff at Family of Christ Preschool. The children benefit as loving Christian relationships are formed between child and teacher, child and child, parent and child, parent and teacher, and family and congregation.
