Be a Simply Giver!
What is it?
The Simply Giving® program is a program that is run by Thrivent Financial. Simply Giving® is an automated giving program designed to help our church as well as helping you. You can learn more by going to the Thrivent website.
How does it help?
First off, it smoothes out the cash flow for the church. As we know, most churches (including ours) have peaks and valleys in our gifts and tithes. Secondly, it saves the church money by not having to print and mail offering envelopes. Finally, it helps you as the money comes automatically out of either your savings or checking account. Your money may be deducted on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing! Thrivent Financial picks up the cost.
Is it risky?
Not a bit. The system is totally secure.
How do I join?
Either print off the Member Enrollment and Authorization Form and bring or mail it to the church office, or pick one up outside the sanctuary before worship.
What do I put in the offering then?
If you would like, we have 3'' x 5" cards outside the sanctuary that say "I'm a Simply Giver." You could take one and drop it in the plate when it comes by you.
